Please tell us the exact sequence of commands that you gave, in the order
that you gave them, along with any messages that were printed in response
to them. And perhaps more to the point, please explain what you are trying
to make Kermit do. Dial out? Go faster? ...

There is a book. It has plenty of examples. Sales of the book are the
major source of funding for continued development and support of C-Kermit,
and we like to think it is helpful to all C-Kermit users, from beginning
to advanced.
If you type "help" at the C-Kermit> prompt, it tells you about the
